316-779-7700 ext. 344 Optima closes $3.5 million deal with ClevelandWichita, KS – September 21, 2004 – Optima Bus Corp. announced today that it has sold 11 buses worth $3.5 million to the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority. The authority is buying a new mixture of two Optima products: its 30-foot, low-floor Opus bus with the look of its American Heritage Streetcar, including wood trim, mahogany seating, and spiral brass handrails and stanchions. Cleveland will run the buses in its revitalized downtown. Production of the buses for Cleveland will begin in January and the final delivery of the buses by spring. Optima is based in Park City.
