Optima Bus Corporation Sells Opus Buses to Cognisa Transportation

Wichita, Kan. – June 21, 2006 – Optima delivered 10 under 30' Opus Low-floor buses to Cognisa Transportation, which is contracted to operate buses at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., for Emory's Transportation Services.

"Initial impressions of the Opus have been extremely favorable," said Blake Beach, President and COO of Cognisa Transportation. "Our drivers are excited about the maneuverability and sophistication of the on-board systems, and our technical staff is impressed with the construction and engineering features designed for easy maintainability."

Laura Ray, Emory's Associate VP for Transportation and Parking, says that the Opus buses will be used in a number of ways. "Some of the longer routes will include park-and-ride shuttles to various locations around the Decatur area."

Emory University and Cognisa Transportation selected the Opus for several reasons, including a higher quality of passenger experience, durability in a tough urban market, decreased maintenance requirements, and low-floor accessibility for all riders.
