316-779-7700 ext. 344 Utah Transit Authority Expands Opus Fleet from Optima Bus CorporationWichita, Kan. – April 17, 2006 – Utah Transit Authority, located in Salt Lake City, Utah, purchased 10 additional under 30' Opus Low-floor buses to its fleet, bringing the total number of Opuses operating at UTA to 43. John Inglish, Utah Transit Authority's General Manager, said, "We are pleased to add another product to UTA's line up of transit services to the public. The public, operator and maintenance staff are pleased with the purchase of these Opus 30' buses." UTA's Opus fleet operates on downtown circulator routes in Salt Lake City. The Opus and Optima have not only made a positive impression on UTA but also on its ridership. "Riders have raved about the buses, including how roomy and bright the buses are and they love the paint scheme," said Justin Jones, UTA spokesperson.
