Three transit systems buy streetcars from Optima Bus

Wichita, KS – June 2, 2005 – The metropolitan transit systems in Columbus, Ga., St. Cloud, Minn., and Palatka, Fla., have purchased new equipment from Park City-based Optima Bus Corp.

All three cities bought Optima's American Heritage Streetcars. The purchase will bring Columbus' fleet to four. St. Cloud and Palatka each now have one.

Optima Bus Corp. is based in Park City, which is just north of Wichita.

Its products include the streetcar and Opus low-floor buses. About 150 transit systems in the country use the buses and trolleys.
